Terms and Conditions

Kaila Studios is owned and operated by Anne Marlene Rueede as an Autónoma (self-employed) in Spain.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions explain how purchases, returns, payments, and deliveries work when you buy from Kaila Studio. By placing an order, you accept these conditions.

2. About Kaila

Kaila Studio is a fashion-tech brand offering clothing designed for people with sensory sensitivities, created by independent autónoma Anne Marlene Rueede.

3. Products and Availability

  • All garments are made by a qualified seamstress Barcelona, Spain.

  • Photos on the website represent the products as accurately as possible, but small variations may occur (especially in handmade production).

  • If a material becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.

4. Pricing

  • Reference prices are those shown in euros (€).

  • VAT is included when applicable under Spanish tax rules for autónomos.

  • Shipping within Spain and selected other countries is free. More details can be found in our Shipping and Delivery section.

5. Ordering

  • When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • You are responsible for checking that your information (email, address, size, preferences) is correct.

  • Production of your garment generally starts once payment is received.

6. Payment

We accept major secure payment methods (Stripe, Shopify Payments, credit/debit cards). Payments are processed securely by Shopify or Stripe.

7. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship two selected countries around the world. The list of countries we ship to can be found in our Shipping and Delivery section.

  • Shipping within Spain and selected other countries is free. More details can be found in our Shipping and Delivery section.
  • Most garments ship within a few business days, but because our clothing is made to order, please allow up to 2 weeks for production.

  • You will receive a tracking number once shipped.

8. Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your product. If it doesn’t work for you, you can return it.

You may return your item if:

  • It is unworn and unwashed

  • Tags are still attached

  • Returned within 14 days of receiving it

Exceptions include items which have been customised for the customer.

Some items may be returned for store credit only, and others for a full refund.

If your item arrives damaged, we will cover return shipping and provide store credit.

9. Right of Withdrawal (EU Law)

Under EU law, customers have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. However, made-to-order items fall under exceptions when personalisation is involved.

10. Samples

You may ask for fabric samples to test textures, colours, and sensory comfort before purchasing a garment. We will do our best to send you samples, but we reserve the right not to send samples at our discretion. Sample sending may depend on availability of requested samples. 11. Customer Accounts

You may create an account, but this is optional. You are responsible for keeping your login information private.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and GDPR compliance.

13. Intellectual Property

All designs, text, images, and website content belong to AnneMarlene Rueede (Kaila Studio) and may not be copied or used without permission.

14. Applicable Law

These conditions follow:

  • Spanish consumer law

  • EU e-commerce legislation

  • GDPR (for data protection)

Any dispute will be handled under Spanish jurisdiction.
