Anna, AYAMI's co-founder, is autistic, has ADHD, and has a limb difference. Like many people, she has spent years struggling to find clothing that genuinely worked for her.
She started AYAMI to solve her own problems first.
Some people like Anna are particularly sensitive to how clothes feel. Some aren't.
We think everyone deserves clothing that feels good.
That's why we've paid particular attention to fabric feel, temperature, pressure, movement and the little details that can turn a beautiful garment into one you never want to wear.
Our sensory-conscious design isn't a separate collection.
It's simply how we design.

Before settling on the materials for AYAMI, we tested more than 200 fabrics.
We looked at:
How they feel.
How they move.
How they breathe.
How they behave against the skin.
How they feel after hours of wear.
Because “soft” isn't the same for everyone.
